WE HAVE PASSED DOWN.How strange is that?
the previous post is when the previous batch left.
Now, it's our turn? (& passing down, um passed already.)
can't get used to this.
where's the familiar smell of spit and grease and FAMILY?
and sometimes mr goh's cologne? :O
and his strange jumpy hair/fringe?
Where's the familiar sound of
Ms Chong's random ringtone?
the angry mass of mixed up and aggressive instru sounds when the band is left alone to self prac?
& the slightly more organised sound of flight& flyer?
might be starting to even miss uncle jack :/
this is saddening.
anyone actually comes back here anymore?

Helloz peoplez!
Soon it'll be passing down and we will have to say goodbye to our Sec4 seniors ):
I don't really know what to say but I'm sure all of us will miss them a lot a lot a lot.
At the same time we'll have to decide between some of us to lead us next year!
I am privvy to such knowledge (hoho) but I'm not revealing it~ (kind of redundant anyway)
Um. Yeah.
Actually this was supposed to be about how we must work hard for SYF next year and work together with whoever our leaders will be!

We've worked hard, and we've enjoyed our time on stage.
I don't regret, and i walked off stage with pride.
I just wanna say that i love all of you even more,
and i've learnt to cherish all of you much much more. <3

8 more pracs to SIBF. 3 more weeks to SIBF.
Looking back, we have come so far together as a band, as a batch, through Limelight '08 in sec one, where we were still little juniors looking up to the seniors in awe as they played their hearts out for NYCB. Through SYF '09, where we aimed to be a
platinum band, though we got a silver, and there were tears, but we pulled ourselves together again as one band, as one Nanyang Concert Band, and in our hearts, we are forever a
platinum band, and this we will prove to the whole wide world. Then came sec three, and we truly became seniors. Appassionata XII has just passed, did we show the whole wide world that we
are a
PLATINUM band? I guess that's up to each and every one of us to answer that. Now, SIBF is in a mere 8 pracs, 3 weeks, 18 days, 18 days, 451 hours, 27100 minutes. Think about it, do you want to show the whole world that Nanyang Concert Band, the band that each and every one of you is part of, is the best band you could ever be in, and is a
PLATINUM band? It's up to each and every single one of you to decide.
Let's work hard shall we? Leave the past and embrace the future. Let your passion for NYCB flow through you and into the music to touch people's hearts. I believe NYCB is not just a social club, it's a place where we play music together as one band, as one sound. It is a band, united as one, showing the whole world that we are a
platinum band; the best band you could ever be in.
Do you believe?I know we can do it, that NYCB can do it. Let's work hard, and not let Ms Chong, Mr Goh, our tutors, our teachers, our seniors, our juniors down. And let's not let ourselves, and NYCB down.

ITS A SUNNY YELLOW, UNRAINY DAY! :D
THANK YOU AWESOME PEOPLE ONCE AGAIN! (:
Band outing 2010 was awesome yesterday, and all of us made it possible again!
And although it rained super heavily and all of us were drenched like dropping soup chickens, we managed to continue with the games in the end. POOR TASHA HAS HIGH FEVER ! D:
And food was good, we started up the fire, and everything turned out good! :D
And all of our time and effort spent on band outing was worth it cause all of us had so much fun! (: planning stage was so bleak initially and we cancelled out ideas like picnic in the evening but i think barbecue's still the best! :D and batch outing at ECP to recce and brainstorming for games after we handed in proposal HAHA. :D okay but we're smart and awesome people we managed to do everything up together hoho!
Yes and killing brain cells while thinking of ways to settle logistics and whether to change location to NYGH. IM SO GLAD WE DIDNT CHANGE. GOOOOD CHOICE! :D I WOULD HAVE SLAPPED MYSELF IF WE CHANGED.
Enjoyed ourselves for ice breakers, and station masters. AND BRAVING THE REALLYYYY HEAVY RAIN, WHICH WE KIND OF PREDICTED AND KEPT ON SINGING BANANA SONG AND HOPING IT WONT GET HEAVIER. THEN EVERYONE WENT UNDER SHELTER AND HAHA POOR SERENE HAD A SAND TASTING SESSION UNDER SHELTER. D: YES CRY FOR ME. then the sun came out YAY and we collected food and then we started our fire, and everything was awesome with cooool people like joan and meian and joei who were pro at starting up fire hehe! (: and TAY's body mass to block the wind haha! (:
SINGING REALLY REALLY REALLY LOUDLY AND SPAMMING NOISE AND BRAVING BANGLAS NEAR INDIA. AND LAUGHING OUR HEADS OFF AND FEEEEEDING EACH OTHER AND LAUGHING AGAIN WITH DUMB AND STUPID SONGS. :D VISIT ECP AGAIN FOR A BATCH SHOT BY THE SEA, M. LIM! :D

THANK YOU EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF NYCB BATCH 11 FOR MAKING
APPASSIONATA XII A HUGE SUCCESS LAST NIGHT. (:
i'm so glad and thankful that i have such sweet and awesome batchmates, whom together with nycb, played MUSIC to the FULL HOUSE audience last night! :D
i'm so proud of myself and our batch and i was really touched when i wasnt playing and looking at you guys play. cause my mind rewinds to when we were in junior band and we were so unfamiliar with band. :O
i'm reminded of sock hop, and how we stayed in the holding room looking at main band (:
Last night, im glad to say i enjoyed myself thoroughly, with all of you guys! And i really need to thank every single one of you who gave notes of JIAYOU and chocolates etc. ! (: I think we played our best, and it was really memorable for me, and yes, its my first and last appa with nycb. i think it was awesome, and i want a replay of the concert. I cant stand the thought that concert it over cause i dont want it to be. i want time to rewind itself so that all of us can play together again. D:
